Re: What’s everyone up to these days?

I'm still kicking around, trying to keep stress and heart rate in check. Most of the car collection is gone and I really miss some of the good times we had during the Guyph days. I've been taking lots of holidays and the last one to Steep Point was just what the doctor ordered. I'd post up a picture...

Re: P2565 error

At 207k, have you had any turbo or dpf work done recently? Is everything looking clean and in place around this area?

Re: My Vortex Project

Pretty sure you'll need to change over the radiator support panel or relocate the radiator to allow the 3.6

I'd recommend looking for a ER27 nose cut to help out

Re: Power steering.

There isn't any adjustments to the alignment of the P/S pump or Alternator, so my thoughts are that if the pump and alt pulleys are inline, then the crank harmonic balancer is out.

How does the engine mounts look? Have they had any oil on them or come out of them?

Re: Centre diff issue and questions

Hey Bennie, Have you confirmed that you are running the correct rear diff? This unsettling feeling when just driving straight is common for incorrect rear diff ratio and this would get worse when turning. It takes a lot of heat to make the viscous coupling to let go, but with the wrong ratios, this ...

Re: Hello from Wellington, NZ

Welcome back roklicka Chrus,

Yes I miss those days in the workshop and keyboard days.

Would be good to post up of your build so far. I remember seeing some pics of the good work you were doing, hope you've found some spare time to work on it since.

Cheers,
Paul

Old forum files

Hi gang,

With this new setup, can we download the files and info that was on the old website home page?

There is a lot of good info on there. Is Brett keeping the original website going in any capacity?

Cheers,
Paul

Nice work and love the new optical disc. Did you make this yourself?

I'd definitely make your own set of headers up but I'd do some research on sizes and lengths to make sure you don't affect the required back pressures.

Definitely check with a local Japanese engine importer. They might have or be able to find you a low km engine which they should be able to sell you with a warranty
