subaru shop in Brendale did a full 98 WRX converion to a Brumby, all WRX running gear which needed pumped wheel arches, but I think it got turned into a track car (it had big dollar suspension for starters) was was getting around around Lawnton/Petrie for some time 5 or 6 years ago, or more. EJ front end into brumby

anyone successfully swapped out the engine x-member, steering rack, suspension, etc, etc from Lib/WRX into a Brumby.... and also the rear end? I see using Garths 5 stud conversion is an option (if still available) but a wider stance would be nicer and I don't like the idea of wheel spacers. Saw a Br...

Why? Done that already, don't need the stress with this car.

why not just a n/a EJ motor, EJ20 or EJ18 would be nice.

the hydraulic clutch is nice and light. I am guessing you have driven a RS Turbo or similar? Such a big different in pedal feel.

There is a plug on the hydraulic slave cylinder side of the gearbox where the clutch fork pivot is. You need something like a 10mm allen key to remove the plug. Then use a long 10mm bolt and screw it in the pivot and slide it out. Undo all the bellhousing bolts and you seperate the gearbox/motor and...

was a great day. A bit of carnage happened but at least nobody was hurt.

I would love to had a ej20t under the bonnet like the last couple years, but at least I had aircon this time.... was probably a good trade off with the heat hehehe
