Thanks for the input.

I don't mind shifting gears. Would you say you need to ride the clutch because of being off boost? Current setup is 3.9, 4 speed with 27" tyres with an EJ22. I've got a 100k old L series 3.7 box sitting there. And considering up a tyre and rim size. Hence the questions. Wondering if I would improve ...

3.7 EA 5MT with 28" Tyre?

G'Day Suba Dudes, I've done alot of reading through the archives at not much work today. I am curious about the gearing of a 3.7 EA 5MT box behind an EJ22 turning 27" or 28" rubber. (In a Brumby) What are your thoughts? Is the gearing too low for the highway (ie is the engine rpm too low to drive co...

IMHO, I like the black contrast of the cage, but it's your car and it always looks the goods.

Thanks Jan,

One of the Liberty Wagons chewed it out ;)

the tailshaft end has to be changed to suit as they're all different, but the splines should fit. CV cups are the same with R160 diffs, so it can be changed both way.. you're better off using LSD's cups in normal diff. Thanks very much AP So R160 (from STi) cups can be used on L series CV shafts (a...

Diff Centre Swap - Open to LSD

G'Day Suba Fans, I've been searching all week for a thread that I read last year of swapping diff internals. Does anybody have it subscribed? If the author reads this can you forward it to me? I have a 3.9 STi LSD available to me, is it a reasonable ask to fit it into a 3.9 MY housing? Or, is there ...

I've heard there's a difference in guard from the dual to single headlight assy's.

Just FYI, nothing confirmed.
