the 3.7 or 4.44 numbers are a relation on the diff as to rotations of the pinion compared to the crownwheel ie 3.7 means the pinion rotates 3,7 turnes to every one turn of the crownwheel and 1 rotation of the crownwheel equals one rotation of the wheels assuming full traction on the road i think 91-...

i have 6000k thay light up for a long distance but the light is farly dull and i find it easyer to see with my non hid spotlights

so i recomend the 4300k ones and there is an ebay seller selling 50watt hid kits for under $200 delevered

if theres no fuel at the engine the injectors will be stuffed
or if the gas system turnes off the fuel pump the injectors will have overheated and that stuffs them too

and a standard single wire bosch o2 sensor is only really accurate at 14.7:1 if you want accuracy look at wideband sensor kits i have an innovate lc1 guage kit more expensive but ive found it to work well reads from 7.4 to well above 20 :1 and has settings for lpg in the laptop software retail is $3...

if you look at your alternator rating (normally written on the sticker on it) it will be someware between 50 and 100 amps 70 at a guess but i havent looked at the newer model outbacks the cable and conectors will have to be rated for equal or greater than this for 50amps your looking at 10mm2 cable ...

for a brumby space became a limiting factor
i found most of the alpine headunits are short enough to fit in the dash length ways if you use right angle rca leads

and you might have to loose your ashtray

as far as im aware the only diferance on the bottom end of the ej20 /22 engines is the piston size

apart from the ej20 being closed deck in some cases

with the handbreak lever if your handy with the welder you can cut the mounts off both handbreaks and weld the lseries mounts to the lib handbreak

ej22 needs the cam sensor for the injection not the spark
ej18 defenatly dosent have one

the only answer i have for this is ej18 muswt be batch injection which explanes why uses more fuel

pretty sure you can run the gt40t with no resistor if your using the electronic dissy
the coil has to be 12 rated though

the thing on the removable pannel is to do with the electric windows auto reseting fuse i think

and the ecu thing could be the tcu (transmition control unit) if its an auto
edit: read wrong the tcu is normally up under the dash between the steering coloum and the heater box

you still have to modify the tail shaft its about 210mm to short for an lseries box from memory but take a mesurement on that one as it may be differant

if its post 1997 make sure you get the imobiliser and the key with it or the ecu will never let the engine start

unless someone on here has figured a way around the imobiliser

and the ring that goes around the ign too

was the box noisy before you took it out of the car if so how while driving but not running in neutral look on th bottom shaft and rear housing in neutral engine running is the rear top shaft bearing or input shaft bearing the rear topshaft bearing is the most common one ive found have had a few so ...

you cant remove the front diff from a subaru gearbox
as the gears in the top of the front housing rely on the oil that comes of the crownwheel for lubrication
