sounds to me like big end or main crankshaft bearings this means the whole engine needs to be split to fix it you might be able to get away with a crank grind and a set of oversize bearings which would probley cost big bucks if u had a pro do the work do it yourself at a guess $500 plus a gasket set...

i have a local company here in tassie do mine using linatex or polyurethane

so far we have only had linatex ones done and u do feel more viarbration with them

at 130km mine used to resonate big time. unis would wear quickly as well ( I never saw more than 15k between changes.) shaft was 3.5" dia. was the shaft modified if so were the uni's orintated the same on both ends missalingment of uni joints ie. having one end rotated 45degrees out on one end will...

the most wireing changes hapend between 82 and 83

my 83 glf dash plugged straight in to a 92 brumby
only wireing change was to do with the auto choke and engine revolution sensor

thought that wasent a problem as lpg regulators wont release gas
it has to be sucked out by the engines vacuum

Quick Question:

Are EA81 and EA82 temp senders the same in terms of resistance/temperature, will an ea81 sensor give 'accurate' gauge readings on an ea82 dash?
