its only a fix for now want to keep the lib stubs in the box
and go for a 5 stud conversion soon just dont have the time to do it straight away

doj for ej conversion

had a search though other posts but cant find any info relevant to my conversion

need to know what to do with front cvs in my brumby to fit liberty gearbox to the standard MY front shafts
i tried rx turbo doj's witch fit the gearbox but not the shaft

timing you can increase it if you want for premium 95 octane you would probley get away with 10deg advance without it pinging dont know if the temperature in summer would affect that someone in SA would know more i switched to bp ultimate 98octane and get away with 15deg advance but it will ping if ...

don't know about coils but i think someone else was talking a while ago about bolting L series rear coils in a brumby but cant remember if it was on here or usmb

ive had toyo 720s on the brumby for more nearly 2 years now grip on road is great off road is pretty good too have had one go flat but pulgged and going well done 60 or 70000 on this set and would probley go another if i dont go up in size before thay were out did notice that on the brumby the outer...

do u know what the bearings r worth
don't know all of them but the dual needle roller at the back of the bottom shaft on a liberty will set u back $350 form Subaru

1st 2dn and reverse are machined into the top shaft to swap them its a hell of a lot less stuffing round to just get another box

or u could see if the subaru dealer has a shaft on stock $$$

dont know much about the fwd gboxes but in the 4wd boxes reverse is machined into the top shaft and i tryed to get the bottom shaft apart with no luck 3rd n 4th gear r one piece and would not budge and i didn't want to break the puller i borrowed top shaft from lseries awd single range disassembled ...

i run a gt40t coil i think using a standard set of bosch leads and ngk iridium spark plugs gaped at 1.2mm note: u cant gap iridium plugs yourself u have to buy them pre gaped running bp ultimate fuel and 12deg advanced timing gave her noticible power increase and havent noticed any pinging even up a...

the full time box also has two bottom shafts one inside the other
the outside shaft holds the gears and the inside one drives the front diff

the part time boxes dont need the two shaft arrangment because thay drive the front wheels all the time
