Gday all, just putting it out there to see if anyones got any experience/suggestions to get the thrust bearing to clip into the clutch pressure plate without separating the engine/box... The b4's nearly ready to fire up, just need to sort the clutch before putting the intercooler on. Any help will b...

didnt do anything else over the wknd. Was flat out with easter related things (bbq's and piss ups:)) will be stuck into it when i get back to perth this time. getting excited for sure............... and never doing it again:)

Engine/box is in. just starting to hook up the other bits, exhaust, tail shaft etc etc etc. going good and picking up steam, cant wait to get it finished.

you'll have more luck with the welding if you convert your mig to gas and use solid wire. $130 for an E (medium) sized bottle of argo shield plus $12 monthly bottle rental and about $60 for 15kg roll of solid wire. You'll be laughing then. And there's not as much obnoxious fumes involved.

Thanks for the replies... Overall length of the forester is 4560mm, so if its 1200mm overhang front and rear that gives me 6960mm.... so im over by 300 odd mm.
