Very Very nice job. The attention to detail is what is most striking. I hope the young lad that is the new owner really appreciates this car. I also hope he agree to you guys publishing the figures as it could be a great guide to other subie enthusiasts. Again well done! And as soon as you guys take...

A great read. I hope that this sort of stuff happens more often. What happened to the almost assured ritual of drivers flashing for speedo's that we use to see years ago. Aussie's looking out for each other. Yeh it still happens but no where near as much. I recently heard a similar story of a family...

It's not the only place we get screwed. Do some research on anything marine and you'll see the same thing. Engines and electronics are almost half price in some cases.

I feel for you outback bloke. That sh!t makes me really angry. I'd love to see that on A current Affair. I have a serious offroad boat/camper set up that was home made and tough. The builder used the "treg" Poly block hitch for securing to the car and I can emphatically back this product and if thie...

If i could find something like that in QLD I'd buy it strait away

I only have the one car at the moment so doing a larger project can't happen without alternate wheels. Would be some fun though.

Thought I had a full powersteer set up today. Boss wreckers told me they had one and I get down there after an hour on the gateway after a truck roll over and no MY powersteering. The search continues. Will be looking at getting a BYB lift kit as soon as they can fit it. I'm told I have to get a lon...

INEEDABEER my appologies for my rudeness. Ill even add some photo's when i get them ;) Exactly what is involved in doing a rear main? Do I have to pull the engine out to get to it or is it possible to drop the gearbox to make it easier. I have a bit of a shudder in the clutch so a kit may be worth d...

Well it seems I am already at my limmit and cant upoad anymore photo's. Looks like ill have to try to resize them all. the camper does detach from the camper. The legs that slot into the trailer rotate out lower down by electric motors and lift the camper off the trailer. Once off I drive the boat a...

Camper Idea's

I thought with all the interest with camper trailers these days and Subie owners obviously liking thier off road and camping we could share some Idea's on camping set ups. Below is some photo's of my boat camper set up, since purchasing I cannot fault it as the ultimate boat/camper package. Hope we ...

5sp into Brumby Conversion.

Hi all! have just done a rear main seal in my 92 Brumby and have been quoted $500 to have it fixed. Was thinking for that kind of dollars it may be worth doing a 5 speed conversion. Is the 5speed conversion worth doing? I don't have the time to attempt it myself so if anyone knows a good place to ha...

Power Steering Conversion

Hi Gent's, am looking at buying a 89 L Sports Wagon for parts and have a few questions.

Is there any difference between a power steering set up from a 89 L Sports Wagon than a 1992 Brumby? Will they be a strait swap or are there modifications required.

Thanks in Advance
