The front bar will be even more interesting. Keep up the good work lads. Any chance you could chain steve to a post in the shed like a sl...

I would have loved to had the option for the Brumby build. It would certainly make towing better..... Maybe a few years down the track. Maybe I'll do the conversion myself (pulling hair out thinking about it)

How did I miss that? Gold! Baghdad is pretty cool now but nothing crazy. I'll be lucky to wear a jacket during the day unless it really windy. I'll be home in march and strait up to say G'day.

Cheers chris.

My hottest day was about 18 months ago.... Actually i think it may have been July 17 2008. I spent 2 hours on the roof of a house betweem 1:30pm and 3:30pm (flat top roof paved in white slate stone). It was in a place called Najaf about 200km south of Baghdad, Iraq. I was wearing full length thick c...

Giles I am told in MANY counties it is in fact Illegal to fly even the Union Jack in the window of your own house. The police will come and force you to remove it!

Have fun trying that here.

As a soldier I have wondered every ANZAC day why there wasn't a Australian and NewZealand national anthem played on ANZAC day. It only fair that we remember the kiwi's who fought alon side us every step of the way. On the original note, makes me really angry they even suggested it. Make em all speak...

Steve, the battery box is fantastic and exactly what we talked about (and more). It will serve the purpose of what it was intended for and as long as the Engineer signs off on it then who cares about the rest.................It's certainly not dangerous so its all good by me..... I highly doubt ill ...

Your really motoring now boys keep up the good work. I expected the next post to say something like. 'the Subie boys are putting all projects on hold due to a horrific tube accident on the water'. Ha ha looks like you survived! Maybe rednecks are tougher than the average bear.

My heart jumped too Rick when I saw this. The open diff nearly made my cry. I don't think this project will ever have a LSD rear.

Shame such a sweet car is being parted looks like a real machine.

That looks bloody solid Rick, she'll be a tank of a Brumby. I guess I'll have to rename her. 'Scrappy' just aint going to cut it anymore..... Although lots of scrap has been fabricated into it? Only a few weeks and ill be up to say g'day!

Does anyone know if it is within a Mechanical Engineers power in QLD to certify a lift of more than 50mm? My Brumby build will have to see one anyway, so if I put in a 3 or 4in lift kit can he sign off on it or am I restricted to 50mm?

Cheers
