i painted a couple of my toranas(engine out- all nuts and bolts,trims, bumpers,suspension etc..... changed as you do when you re young and too much time on your hands)changed the colours and all sorts----fixed up my vn commodore after it was trashed (many hours and many painkillers!!and drum'n'bass!...

seriously 2" is'''big''' for this car..that size pipe is ample for such horse power and any bigger- jepardises(spelling?) -torque ---which in my car -was not what the doctor ordered!!! unless you want to really hear a boom consistently---stick with a baffled muff-(plenty of flow!! and plenty of boxe...

the auto seems to be the main thing altered,also the power drop is only felt down low,these are much more noticable settings with a turbo car(gen2 tt) in the liberty the power switch would seem to reduce thetake-off 'punch' a fraction, in the hold' mode(snow mode?) the car has no launch punch at all...

fuel pump? it took me a while to get my h.p.pump running(my wiring) and it(ejNA) was running as you described... until fuel pressure was there....oops

id call a resonator the same thing as a hotdog(torpedo resonator) its perhaps more the traditional oval shape, but would be straight through and have dimensions of say-5"by 3" by 16" long for eg.---sounds to me like you have a fully unbaffled system(straight through) and would benefit from a baffled...

ok im going to stick with the standard small return pipe too

as per diagram(subarinos surge tank plan)ill use high pressure hoses to engine
but low pressure ones to return to tank----------ok????

hey timmo. question..s. so youre using that larger pipe running up the car for fuel return?(-was vapour pipe) what happens when it gets back to the tank??? are you still entering the tank via the small return fitting (next to the "out" hose)? does that really make it worth upsizing the pipeline anyw...

ok peeple ive held up the vl pump under the car...that looks easy... now.... im thinking i should put the bigger return pipe(brass.yeh?) for an ej22 because its only about 3...4 mm pipe now?!?! this pipe goes into the front of tank at same place as the fueloutlet?! where will i return bigger fuel li...
